The Smithfield Community Park TRACK Trail is an easy 1 mile loop around the perimeter of the park. This flat, paved trail around the 47 acre park features views of a forest an open field and includes several benches to relax. For a longer adventure, the Buffalo Creek Greenway can be accessed half-way around the loop.

Walking trail, play areas, basketball courts, tennis courts, soccer and baseball facility for tournaments. Picnic areas can be reserved for groups. Smithfield Community Park is located adjacent to the Smithfield Recreation & Aquatic Center and along the back visitors will find the entrance to the Buffalo Creek Greenway, a 3-mile trail that runs along the Neuse River to Downtown Smithfield.

The Animal Athletes adventure challenges kids to exercise with the animals. This brochure gives kids eight different animal exercises they can do along the trail. From hummingbird hand-swings to lizard pushups, kids are sure to have fun getting in shape with the animals during their outdoor adventures.

The Smithfield Community Park is located in Smithfield, NC about 30 miles southeast of Raleigh. The park is located north of downtown Smithfield about 2 miles on East Booker Dairy Road.
