The Hartford Beach State Park TRACK Trail follows the Aspen Springs Trail.
This beautiful 0.75 mile loop will lead you through a true native prairie. The trail also features a cold and clear spring-fed creek, native hardwood forests, and historic fur trade era sites.
Runoff from melting glaciers 10,000 years ago created the river Warren. A section of the river is known today as Big Stone Lake. Rugged rock-strewn bluffs and scenic timbered shorelines surround Hartford Beach.
