
The Town of Elkin TRACK Trail is located on the section of the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail that passes through Elkin. The TRACK Trail follows Elkin Creek from the Elkin Municipal Park and ends at the Yadkin River.
The trail is 0.7 miles one-way (1.4 miles roundtrip) from the trailhead to the scenic view of the river. From there, the Overmountain Victory Trail continues along the Yadkin River.

The Town of Elkin is about 45 minutes from Winston-Salem. From I-77 N, Take exit 82 for N Carolina 67 toward Elkin/Jonesville/Boonville. Turn left onto N Carolina 67 W. Turn left onto Elm St. Turn right onto W Main St/U.S. 21 Bus and continue over the bridge. Turn left onto NC-268 Business W (W Spring St). The park will be on your left. The trailhead is located near the tennis courts.
