Lithia Park

Lithia Park, Ashland's crown jewel, follows Ashland Creek through undeveloped woodlands, groves of sycamore trees, a swim reservoir, and a number of secluded spots. Off the creek you'll find a Japanese garden, 100-acres of emerald lawns, pickleball courts, a sand-pit volleyball court, picnic areas, planned gardens, and a playground.

The TRACK Trail starts at a playground beside Ashland Creek where a wading area offers fun and relief from the heat in the summer. The TRACK Trail follows the creek, crossing it several times over unique bridges. Along the way, walkers will enjoy both wild areas and cultivated gardens. Numerous species inhabit the park. Keep your eyes open for deer, jays, woodpeckers, raptors, squirrels, ferns, lichen, and more unusually, but possibly, a bear. The 1-mile extension off the loop takes you to a swim reservoir.
