Stevens Creek Heritage Preserve - Mini

The Stevens Creek Heritage Preserve TRACK Trail is a 2.0 mile loop trail through diverse habitats that transition from upland ridges to bottomland hardwood forests along Stevens Creek. Designated a National Natural Landmark by the National Park Service, the site offers chances to see rare plants such as the nodding trillium, spring beauty, and Florida gooseberry. If you are lucky, you may catch a glimpse of the endangered Webster's salamander among the large lichen and moss-covered rocks overlooking the creek. While passing by the creek on the trail, keep an eye out for swimming redbreast sunfish or largemouth bass that call the waters home.
