Trail TRACKers of the Month - Macon and Milo

We are so proud of our Trail TRACKers, and that's why we like to recognize those who go out of their way to explore our trails. Each month, we honor at least one of these special explorers with the title of Trail TRACKer (or TRACKers) of the Month.
 

Meet Trail TRACKers of the Month Macon and Milo!

What's your favorite TRACK Trail? Why?

"The Carl Sandburg Home. We loved the goats, all the wildlife, and seeing how veggies grow in the garden!"

What's your favorite TRACK Trail brochure adventure?

"Either Bug Out or the nature scavenger hunt! We love looking for bugs, and the scavenger hunt gives us lots to keep an eye out for!"

What's the most exciting wildlife you've ever seen on a TRACK Trail?

"Lots of Frogs, a giant snapping turtle, and a green heron."

What's the longest hike you've ever done?

"1.5 miles!"

What is the coolest trail experience you've ever had?

"The Andy Cove Trail in Pisgah Forest has a really cool swinging bridge and is a really fun trail all around!"

If you could go for a hike anywhere in the world, where would it be?

"Anywhere that has lots of wildlife and is near an ocean!"

Do you have any hiking tips for other Trail TRACKers?

"Getting out early can help make sure you see lots of wildlife! Always dress to get messy or wet! One of our favorite trails was one we did in the rain!"
