2025 National TRACK Trails Day
The 7th annual National TRACK Trails Day is right around the corner, and we're celebrating all weekend (August 15-17)! National TRACK Trails Day (NTTD) honors our commitment to engage children and families with the outdoors through Kids in Parks. In the year since the last National TRACK Trails Day in 2024, Kids in Parks has opened 46 new TRACK Trails - 26 standard TRACK Trails, 19 TRACK Trail MINIs, and one Fishing TRACK Trail. Of these new additions, 33 are located in South Carolina, 11 in Oregon, and two in Washington state. During last year's NTTD weekend, we surpassed 300 TRACK Trails, and it looks like this month will see our 350th location. From working with county parks to national forests, we are grateful for those who partner with us and share our mission of getting children and families outside! We're excited to announce our 7th annual National TRACK Trails Day and hope you can find a TRACK Trail near you to celebrate this special KIP holiday.
Every year on this weekend, participating TRACK Trails across the country host events and activities for kids and families in the area. If you can't make it to an in-person event, you can participate virtually by visiting a TRACK Trail and using any of the Kids in Parks materials, like the self-guided brochures, e-Adventures, or TRACKtivities to TRACK an adventure. Register any adventures from this weekend (August 15-17) and earn an exclusive NTTD sticker and digital badge.

1. Celebrate With Us
National TRACK Trails Day is an annual KIP holiday celebrating our program's anniversary and our mission to get kids outdoors. Whether you hike, bike, paddle, or play disc golf with us, celebrate the day at a TRACK Trail!
2. Find an Adventure
Take part in National TRACK Trails Day by visiting a TRACK Trail, attending an event hosted by a partner park, or playing an e-Adventure wherever you like to explore! Keep a close eye on our Facebook page for any promoted events.
3. TRACK Your Adventure
Register your adventures during the weekend of August 15-17 for a special National TRACK Trails Day sticker and digital badge! Don't forget to tag us in any posts on Instagram and Facebook.
