Prizes

The Kids in Parks program offers kids the ability to earn Trail TRACKer Gear for registering their TRACK Trail Adventures on our website – it’s our way of providing kids with incentives to get “unplugged”, outdoors and connected with nature. From a Nature Journal, to a Backpack, to a Magnifying Lens, each prize was developed to make your next outdoor adventure more fun. All you need to do to receive your Trail TRACKer Gear is join the Trail TRACKer Team and begin keeping track of your TRACK Trail Adventures in your On-Line Nature Journal. Make sure you have your parent’s permission before you start TRACKing your trails.

It should be noted that none of your personal information will be shared with any outside agencies and you will not be spammed when you join the Trail TRACKer Team. This is just our way of providing kids with incentives to stay active while simultaneously receiving feedback about our program.

For each virtual medal kids can earn, there are various levels: bronze, silver, gold and diamond based on the level they have obtained within that category. For example, if a kid registers adventures from two different TRACK Trails, they will earn the bronze level TRACK Trail Traveler medal. When the same kid has registered their 4th different TRACK Trail, their medal level will become Silver. The gold medal is earned when the 7th different TRACK Trail is registered, and the diamond level is awarded when they reach 10 different trails.
