Owen High Nature Trail Disc Golf Course; where the flight of your Frisbee is the trail and the tee-signs and scorecards are your nature guides! Set in the beautiful Swannanoa Valley, the Owen High Nature Trail Disc Golf Course is surrounded by beautiful mountain views – including a spectacular view of the Blue Ridge Parkway (the most visited unit of the National Park Service) cutting across the shoulder of Potato Knob (one of the peaks in the Black Mountains, the tallest mountain chain East of the Mississippi). At 2438’, the 9-hole course covers nearly half a mile in Frisbee flying distance… and nearly a full mile of walking distance (and, that’s if you throw your discs straight). Although the course is minimally wooded, the use of elevation and OB (out-of-bounds) make it challenging.

Walking a mile and exercising in nature has never been so much fun!
