Get Involved

Working together, we can change the world for our kids and our parks. There are several ways that you can get involved in the Kids in Parks and TRACK Trail programs. The easiest way is to participate in the program by attending guided walks, visiting TRACK Trails on your own, and/or by joining the Trail TRACKer Team. You can also get involved by giving back to the program in a variety of ways. We are always looking for volunteers to help with Kids in Parks events, working with groups who want guided hikes, and installing new TRACK Trails. We can also accept donations to help develop new trails, provide guided walks, and reach those kids who need us most. For more information about how you can become involved see the links below.

Volunteer

Would you like to volunteer with the Kids in Parks or TRACK Trail Programs? If so, we would like to hear from you. We have several ways in which you can help make this program a success. From helping organize and run Kids in Parks events, to helping with conceptual designs, to sewing patches on TRACK Packs... volunteers are essential to the program. Recommend a New Trail

Do you know the perfect place where we can install our newest TRACK Trail? Let us know! We are always looking for new places along the Parkway, and within communities surrounding the Parkway, to install new TRACK Trails. The only requirements are that the trail must already exist and that the trail is kid friendly. Fill out the New Trail Application below and we will see what we can do about getting a TRACK Trail installed at your site.

Schedule a Hike

Do you have a group of 10 or more people who would enjoy a guided hike? Possibly a school group, church group, girl or boy scouts troop, or simply a group of friends? Carolyn and Jason, who are stuck working indoors most of the time, would love nothing more than getting out on the trail with you and your group. We can set up a walk tailored to your needs.
